Interesting Ways of serving Ice Cream

  

An orange flavored Kulfi ice-cream served in an orange.



The Orange is scooped out through a small opening at the top and the ice cream is frozen in it.


Same way, Mango Ice Cream served in Mango.

Japanese: 

Deep fried ice cream: A ball of ice cream dipped in tempura batter, or coated with egg and flour and breadcrumbs, and deep fried. 

  

MonakaMonaka (最中?) is a Japanese sweet made of azuki bean jam filling sandwiched between two thin crisp wafers made from mochi. The jam can be made from azuki beans but also with sesame seed, chestnuts, or rice cake (Mochi).

Modern monaka can also be served filled with ice cream.


Yukimi daifuku: 


Served in a mochi (pounded rice) dough, with sweet bean  filling. 


Yukimi Daifuku (Japanese: 雪見だいふく "snow-viewing daifuku") is a brand of mochi ice cream manufactured by Lotte. It consists of a ball of vanilla ice milk wrapped in a thin layer of mochi, or rice cake.

Served on a sweet crêpe: 


American: On pie, as pie a la mode. 

 
Pie à la Mode is pie served with a scoop of ice cream.

Indian MATKA KULFI!


Matka kulfi is icecream that is served in tiny earthen pots. The pot imparts a nice earthy flavor to the icecream. 
Flavors include malai( cream), raspberry, mango, pistachio and so many others. 


Falooda 

  

A milk based dessert popular across the Indian subcontinent - and in Mauritius! 
Traditionally it is made from mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, psyllium or basil seeds, tapioca pearls and pieces of gelatin with milk or water.
